This tie by Bach Tie a beautiful and useful gift for that maestro on your list. I absolutely love its color, the somewhat creamy, off-white silk, which resembles old paper, and would perfectly complement any suit, tuxedo, or a tail-coat. The notes are printed to imitate the handwriting of Johan Sebastian Bach. I really like their small and busy print, which ate the same time looks very clean, neat, and elegant.
